WHO WE ARE

MAIIA ("we," "us," "our") runs the website getmaiia.com and related cloud services that turn visual media into real-time audio description in many languages. This notice explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

• • Contact and account data – name, email, password, company/role, language (you provide).
• • Payment data – last four digits of card, billing address, transaction ID (collected by our PCI-compliant processor and shared with us).
• • Usage data – pages visited, buttons clicked, time spent, error logs, files you upload for description (collected automatically by cookies and logs).
• • Device data – IP address, browser, operating system, device ID, screen-reader settings, time zone (sent by your device).
• • Support data – chat messages, emails, call recordings (when you contact us).

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

After these periods we delete or anonymize the data.

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, port your data, or opt out of certain sharing. Email denys@getmaiia.com to exercise a right; we may verify your identity. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

SECURITY

We protect data with HTTPS in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based access controls, regular penetration tests, and continuous monitoring. No method is 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your information.
